The 'Cougar Town' alum travels to be with her best friend Michelle on the 10-year anniversary of the 'Dark Knight' actor's death.

AceShowbiz - Busy Philipps is a man of actions. After paying tribute to Heath Ledger on Instagram on the 10-year anniversary of his death, she apparently traveled out of town to be with Michelle Williams during the difficult time.

On Monday, January 22, the "Cougar Town" alum took to the photo-sharing site to share a picture of her with her best friend Michelle. The "All the Money in the World" actress was resting her head on Busy's shoulder with her eyes closed. "It's ok," Busy captioned the pic.

Earlier that day, Busy posted on Instagram Stories videos of her crying while remembering the late actor. She was driving in her car as the song "Time to Pretend" by MGMT played in the background.

"I was just driving and I was thinking about my friend Heath who died 10 years ago and this song came on, 'Time to Pretend'," she said in one of the videos. "It came out after he passed away and I remember when it came out, because [I thought] it made me think of him. I just thought he would have liked this song. And for some reason, every time I hear this song... it's weird."

Heath tragically passed away in 2008 in his New York City apartment due to an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. He was 28.

Michelle and Heath started dating in 2004 after they met on the set of "Brokeback Mountain". They welcomed their daughter Matilda in October 2005. They separated in September 2007.

Busy and Michelle have been best friends since they starred together on "Dawson's Creek". She was also close with Heath.

On Monday, Heath's ex-girlfriend Naomi Watts also paid tribute to the late actor on Instagram. She posted a photo of the Joker depicter and wrote in the caption, "Thinking about this beautiful soul today. 10 years ago he left this world. He was a true original. Heart always on his sleeve, with the most powerful charisma, strength, humor and talent. I will never forget his gentle spirit."
