The Cuban songstress gives fans a preview of the unreleased collaboration, singing, 'Oh boy hold your tongue, I don't want no apologies.'

AceShowbiz - Camila Cabello had a lot to celebrate on Monday, January 22. In addition to having her self-titled debut solo album arrived atop Billboard 200 chart, her hit single "Havana" notched the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Celebrating the feat, the songstress joined Billboard's Hot 100 Top 10 countdown on Facebook Live stream.

While discussing her album, Camila was asked about a song that didn't make the cut, a collaboration with Ed Sheeran entitled "The Boy". The host asked Camila if they could hear a snippet of what the song sounded like, and she obliged. Camila then gave viewers an unrehearsed, a capella preview of the song's pre-chorus.

"Oh boy hold your tongue, I don't want no apologies/ 'Cause we both know you're thinking with that's under your jeans," she sang before stopping by saying, "Okay, that's it." After listening to the snippet, the host jokingly responded, "That's more than what iTunes give on the preview," adding that it was really good.

Their collaboration was first revealed by Ed back in May during an interview with Zane Lowe. The British singer-songwriter explained that he wrote a demo inspired by Camila's vocal chops, sent it to her and let her re-write the lyrics. Ed described the song as having a "James Brown-inspired funk feel" and compared the song to Beyonce Knowles' "Crazy in Love". He said at the time, "It's just sass and big vocals. Camila has a voice that should really be shown off."

As mentioned above, the songstress scored her No. 1 album with "Camila" on Billboard 200 chart, selling 119,000 equivalent album units with 65,000 in traditional album sales. The "Real Friends" songstress couldn't contain her excitement over it and took to social media to share how she felt. "I'M CRYING ON THE STREET," so she wrote on the micro-blogging site.
