'She took care of me. She'll be a good mother, for real. She's a great woman,' the former NBA player says of his ex-wife, who is currently expecting her first child with Tristan Thompson.

AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom has sent his well wishes for ex-wife Khloe Kardashian, who is currently expecting her first child with NBA star beau Tristan Thompson. During his appearance on "Mancave", the 38-year-old troubled athlete says that he believes the 33-year-old reality TV star will be a "good mother" to her unborn child.
In a sneak peek for the upcoming episode of the BET late-night show, host Jeff Johnson asks Lamar about Khloe being pregnant, to which the retired professional basketball player responds, "Her having a baby? I'm happy for her." He goes on saying that his ex "took care of me, she'll be a good mother. For real. She's a great woman."
During his appearance, Lamar also reveals he still has her initials tattooed on his body. "I still got my shawty's, uh, name still on me. I mean her initials still on me," the former Los Angeles Lakers player says as he points to the ink on his hand. But he also throws major shade at the youngest Kardashian sister, saying that he knew it was over between them based on the amount of NBA players she's been together with.
"But for no reason. You know what I'm saying? I understand when it's over, it's over," he tells the host. "When she was with her second or third NBA ball player, I could see that," he shares.
Lamar had three kids, Destiny, Lamar Jr. and the late Jayden, with Liza Morales before they separated. His relationship with Khloe, whom he married in September 2009 after a month of dating, had tons of ups and downs during the time they were together.
Khloe originally filed for divorce from him in December 2013, and both parties signed for it in July of 2015. However, the divorce did not receive final approval from a judge before being dismissed by request in October 2015 when Lamar was hospitalized after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and was subsequently in the hospital for four days. They finalized their divorce a year later, in December 2016.
