'Bachelor' Recap: A Contestant Is Surprisingly Eliminated After Awkward One-On-One Date
TV

In the third episode of the ABC dating competition series, another contestant was sent home after she tried to get one more one-on-one moment with Arie.

AceShowbiz - "The Bachelor" season 22 aired its episode 3 on Monday, January 15. With 18 ladies left, Arie Luyendyk Jr. seemingly didn't have much trouble to decide which ladies he's comfortable with and he's not as he eliminated two ladies pre-rose ceremony.

The first date in the episode was a group date with Maquel, Jacqueline, Lauren B., Tia, Marikh, Bekah, Bibiana and Krystal. They literally fought in the right and wrestled in hope of Arie's attention as the date was inspired by the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling a.k.a. GLOW.

Tia and Bibiana had a hard time during the wrestling, but they managed to get it through. When it's for the nighttime portion of the date, Krystal and Bibiana reignited their feud as the former once again snatched Arie for one-on-one time.

In the episode, Arie got intimate with Tia and they even had their first kiss. The race car driver also got deeper with Bekah as she opened up about her past relationships. While Krystal was so convinced that no one had better connection with Arie than her, Arie gave the group date rose to Bekah.

Later, Arie took Lauren S. to a one-on-one date at a vineyard. Arie said that he was excited to spend time together with Lauren, whom he hadn't much time with before. While both of them were excited, the date turned out to be a very awkward one. Lauren was a bit all over the place throughout the dinner. Unfortunately, Arie sent her home. When asked about his decision, Arie explained, "It's because.. I don't even know."

The second group date featured Ashley, Becca K., Brittany, Jenna, Caroline, Chelsea and Annaliese taking part in a funny dog show. Following the group date, Arie chose Chelsea for a one-on-one moment. Annaliese later had a deep conversation with Arie in which she told him that she was struggling to read him. However, Chelsea interrupted them for a second makeout session. Her desperation for Arie earned her a rose.

Meanwhile, Annaliese started to get anxious as she's the only girl who hadn't had a kiss with Arie. She asked him for a kiss, but unfortunately got turned down. After she tried to get one more one-on-one moment, Arie decided to not give her a rose.

Caroline, Kendall, Ashley, Lauren B., Brittany, Becca K., Sienne, Krystal, Tia, Maquel, Jenna, Jacqueline and Marikh joined Chelsea and Bekah to get roses from Arie. It meant that Bibiana was eliminated alongside Lauren S. and Annaliese.

"The Bachelor" airs on Mondays at 8 P.M. on ABC.
