A source reveals that the 'Malibu' singer and her actor fiance tied the knot 'in secret' ceremony during their New Year trip in Byron Bay.

AceShowbiz - Did Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth secretly get married in Australia? Rumor has it, the 25-year-old former Disney star and the 28-year-old actor tied the knot "in secret" ceremony during their New York trip in Byron Bay on the New South Wales Coast.
The report, first broken by NW magazine (via Daily Mail), comes after the couple was spotted wearing bands on their ring fingers in the coastal town last week. An insider told the mag of the alleged nuptials, "It's such a special place for them (in Byron Bay). It felt right."
Miley and Liam, who called off their first engagement in 2013, rekindled their romance in January 2016 while ringing in the New Year together in Byron Bay. And according to the insider, "It was a no-brainer that it'd be the place they tied the knot."
"It's where they realised that they couldn't live without each other," the source allegedly went on to explain to the publication. The source added that it's also the place where the couple "decided to really give their relationship another go."
Reps for the longtime couple have yet to comment on the nuptials report. But it's not the first time the couple has sparked speculation they have already tied the knot.
Last year, a source reportedly close to Miley and Liam told OK! magazine, "Miley is absolutely over the moon since she and Liam took the plunge and exchanged vows." The source added, "Words cannot describe how much love they have for each other and they know they want to spend the rest of their lives together."
The couple, who met on the set of "The Last Song" in 2009, became engaged in 2012, but called it off a year later. After it was revealed their engagement was back on two years ago, Miley spoke candidly about their time apart to Billboard, "I needed to change so much."
However, "changing with someone else not changing like that is too hard," she explained. The "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker explained, "Suddenly you're like, 'I don't recognize you anymore.' We had to re-fall for each other."
