AceShowbiz - New photos from the set of the upcoming "Avengers" film have emerged as filming is still underway. On Wednesday, January 10, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Paul Rudd and Mark Ruffalo were seen sharing a very hearty laugh on the set of "Avengers 4" in Atlanta, Georgia.
Evans and Rudd wore their superhero costumes, Downey Jr. donned a navy blue outfit with a S.H.I.E.L.D. patch on his arm, and Ruffalo wore a special effects suit. What's interesting is that Evans' Steve Rogers no longer sports the beard he's shown in "Avengers: Infinity War" sneak peeks. Moreover, the red, white and blue costume he wore appears to be the original Captain America costume featured in "Captain America: The First Avenger".
His clean-shaven face and his costume change spark a speculation that the upcoming fourth "Avengers" movie would feature a time-traveling element and the scene they were shooting could be a flashback. In addition, the actors were seen wearing strange devices on their hands.

Previously, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Hemsworth and Downey Jr. were spotted filming what could be a flashback scene as Hemsworth was seen rocking long hair again. Hemsworth's character Thor got his hair cut in "Thor: Ragnarok".
Downey Jr. also rocked a black-and-gold Sabbath shirt, which was the same shirt that his character Tony Stark wore in the first "Avengers" movie. Hiddleston's Loki was seen being restrained by a device over his mouth. It's said that they might be recreating the ending of "The Avengers", where Loki lost to the superheroes.
Plot details of "Avengers 4" are still scarce, but it's believed that it would feature Jeremy Renner's Clint Burton ditching his Hawkeye persona and adopting the mantle of samurai sword-wielding Ronin.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, it is due out in the United States on May 3, 2019, with the likes of Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch and Scarlett Johansson set to reprise their respective roles. The superheroes will first team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy in "Avengers: Infinity War", which is set for a May 4 release in theaters across the nation.
