AceShowbiz - Are wedding bells ringing soon for Chris Evans and Jenny Slate? According to a source, the Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America of "The Avengers" film series and his comedian/actress girlfriend are planning to tie the knot after rekindling their romance.
"Getting back together was the best thing they ever did and they've come out wiser and more appreciative," the source revealed to OK!. "It's been heaven living together in New York and now they're making plans to get married next summer or spring at the earliest."
"One of the nice things about Jenny is that she can hang with him and his buddies and have a good time," the insider gushed about the 35-year-old actress. "She's very sociable," the source continued, adding that the 36-year-old actor "can't imagine life without her."
Chris and Jenny, who co-starred in last year's comedy-drama film "Gifted", dated from June 2016 to February 2017 before they got back together around two months ago. A source told the publication at the time that the couple was planning to move in together weeks after their reconciliation.
But Jenny wasn't down to take such a big step without some sort of commitment, revealed the source. The couple was said to be "looking at apartments in New York to share and Chris is also shopping for engagement rings." Jenny's "thrilled," the source added. "Everything's working out the way she wanted."
Chris and Jenny first sparked reconciliation rumors after they were spotted enjoying dinner together in Atlanta while the actor filmed his latest movie, "Avengers: Infinity War". The two were later spotted together again on a double-date with his pal Robert Downey Jr. and wife Susan Downey. The couple appeared to confirm their on-again romance after being spotted apartment-hunting earlier last month in New York City.
Jenny was previously married to filmmaker Dean Fleischer-Camp, with whom she collaborated on the "Marcel the Shell with Shoes On" books and short films. They tied the knot in September 2012, before announcing their separation in May 2016.
