AceShowbiz - After weeks of teasing on social media, Liam Payne and Rita Ora finally unveiled their collaborative track "For You". The song serves as an original soundtrack for "Fifty Shades Freed", the final installment of "Fifty Shades" film franchise.
Produced by Ali Tamposi, Ali Payami and Rita's beau Andrew Watt, "For You" is an upbeat, pop-driven dance record that finds the duo singing about falling in love with a special someone. "Been waiting for a lifetime for you/ Been breaking for a lifetime for you," they sing. "Wasn't looking for love 'till I found you/ For love, 'till I found you."
Liam and Rita started teasing their collaboration last month, posting on Instagram a picture of themselves posing in front of large windows. In the snap, Liam channeled Christian Grey by donning a dapper suit, while Rita leaned closer to the hunk, teaming up her semi-sheer pink dress with black heels. And yesterday, the duo further teased the track by posting on the photo-sharing site a clip of them joking around while recording the song in a studio.
Besides the duo's collaboration, the soundtrack album for the upcoming James Foley-directed movie will also include other big names such as John Legend, Nicki Minaj, Nick Jonas and Sia Furler. Liam is the second One Direction member to contribute to the soundtrack for the erotic franchise. Former member Zayn Malik previously collaborated with Taylor Swift for "I Don't Wanna Live Forever", which served as the soundtrack for "Fifty Shades Darker".
"Fifty Shades Freed" is sheduled to hit theaters across the nation on February 9. Based on the best-selling erotic novel of the same name by E.L. James, the third and final installment will follow the lives of business mogul Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and book publishing editor Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) after their wedding. Rita will reprise her role as Mia Grey, Christian's friendly sister.
