The 'Justice League' actor is continuing to receive treatment for his personal issues with alcohol, a source reveals.

AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck is continuing to receive treatment for his alcohol addiction. A source close to the 45-year-old actor tells Us Weekly that "Ben's main priorities have never wavered" and that "he's focused on his family and spending time with Lindsay [Shookus]." The source notes, "Dealing with this disease is something he'll have to work on for the rest of his life and he remains focused on it."

Affleck confirmed in March that he had gone back to treatment for his issues with alcohol and drugs. In a statement released on Facebook after completing his initial 2017 stint, the Batman of the DC films said, "I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I've dealt with in the past and will continue to confront."

"I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be," he continued. "I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step."

The "Justice League" actor went on saying that he's "lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, [Jennifer Garner], who has supported me and cared for our kids as I've done the work I set out to do." He concluded his post, "This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery."

However, Affleck was spotted drinking with Shookus when attending HBO's Emmy after-party at Pacific Design Center in WeHo in September. The actor allegedly "ordered a water at the bar," but once he joined his "Saturday Night Live" producer girlfriend and actor Larry David, he traded his water for "a short glass filled with whiskey and Coke." An onlooker said, "Lindsay may not know it, but she's enabling him."
