AceShowbiz - Ahead of the release of her much-anticipated debut solo album "Camila", Camila Cabello has unleashed two new songs off the effort. They are "Never Be the Same" and "Real Friends", which come with the pre-sale purchase of the upcoming album.

"Never Be the Same" is an up-tempo, drum-laden track that finds Camila pushing her voice into a high squeak as she sings the lustful and pharmaceutical lyrics. "Just like nicotine, heroin, morphine/ Suddenly, I'm a fiend and you're all I need/ All I need/ Ooh, yeah, you're all I need," she rhymes over the booming drums.

On the other hand, "Real Friends" is a gentle, sparsely ballad which features light guitar and soft percussion. The three-minute track finds the songstress singing about looking for real friends who won't let her down. "I'm just lookin' for some real friends/ All they ever do is let me down," she sings. "Every time I let somebody in/ Then I find out what they're all about."

Earlier this week, Camila revealed on Instagram that her debut effort would hit the stores on January 12, 2018. She also posted the cover art for the set, which saw the Cuban native rocking floral outfits while opening her legs.

The effort was previously titled "The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving.", but she decided to change it to "Camila" as she thought that the set marked the end of a chapter in her life. "I decided to call it by name, because this is where this chapter in my life ended," she wrote. "It started with somebody else's story. It ended with me finding my way back to myself."

The "Havana" hitmaker also remarked that the album would definitely be worth buying as "all of these songs have special memories behind them, and I'm not going to lie." She continued, "It feels emotional letting them go, feels like the end of a chapter.."
