AceShowbiz - There were many memorable performances at the 2017 American Music Awards, which was held on November 19. Christina Aguilera's performance was among them. The 36-year-old songstress performed an incredible medley of Whitney Houston's hit song, honoring both the singer and "The Bodyguard".

Christina, who was introduced by Viola Davis, started her performance with a cover of Whitney's mega hit "I Will Always Love You". The songstress then continued with covers of "I Have Nothing", "Run to You" and "I'm Every Woman". When Christina, who wrapped up in a low-cut black silk dress, sang the last song of the medley, "Woman", the audience started dancing and clapping along.

While people who attended the show were busy enjoying Christina's performance, viewers at home noticed that Pink grimaced during the performance. However, the mother of two quickly took to Twitter to deny the claims, saying that Christina's performance was amazing. "Christina f***ing killed it tonight for one of our favorite singers ever," she tweeted. "This about Whitney, and I am in awe of Christina's talent. Show the clip where I'm in tears, you negative Nancy's."

Elsewhere at the event, Imagine Dragons and Khalid hyped up the crowd by performing a mash-up of "Thunder" and "Young, Dumb & Broke". Sporting a red, white and blue polo shirt, Khalid began their performance by rapping the first verse of his song. When he was singing the hook, Imagine Dragons joined him and delivered a performance of "Thunder" before Khalid sang the second verse of "Young, Dumb & Broke".

Niall Horan, who won New Artist of the Year Award, delivered a rock version of his song "Slow Hands". Rocking a tight black shirt, black jeans and an oversized fedora, the One Direction member showcased his mesmerizing vocals as he performed along with a drummer and a few guitarists. A loud cheer from his female fans could be heard at the end of his performance.
