While Kelly and Pink perform a tearjerking performance of R.E.M.'s 'Everybody Hurts', Selena belts out her latest track 'Wolves' with Marshmello.

AceShowbiz - Pink and Kelly Clarkson joined forces for the first time at the 2017 American Music Awards, which was held on November 19 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The duo, whom Jamie Foxx introduced as "two of the world's most powerful voices," opened the show with a performance of R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts".

Pink, wrapped up in a black floral dress and a leather jacket, began singing the first verse before being joined by Kelly. The twosome then started trading lyrics to each other while showcasing their powerful voices beautifully. The performance ended with a hug between the duo and a standing ovation from the audience.

Selena Gomez, on the other hand, made a stage comeback at the event, which was hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross. Together with Marshmello, Selena belted out their recent collaborative track "Wolves". Selena, rocking a blond hair, started her performance by crawling across the stage before singing the lyrics. Marshmello could be seen manning the drums on the corner of the stage.

Unfortunately for her, instead of getting praises for her incredible performance, viewers at home thought that the "It Ain't Me" singer was lip syncing through her whole performance. A Twitter user wrote, "Selena can't sing to save her life. No hate but Selena is clearly lip syncing."

Lady GaGa, who won Favorite Female Artist Pop/Rock Award, debuted a performance of "The Cure" for the first time on TV at the 2017 AMAs. She didn't perform on the award's stage, though. The "Bad Romance" hitmaker belted out the song live from her "Joanne" world tour stop in Washington, D.C.

Pink's performance with Kelly was not the only performance that she delivered at the show. Wrapping up in a purple bodysuit, the mother of two performed "Beautiful Trauma" while hanging by wires off J.W. Marriott hotel in Los Angeles. Even though she once admitted that she was scared of performing while hanging by wires, Pink delivered the performance professionally.
