AceShowbiz - Remy Ma has finally made her return. The "Money Showers" raptress unleashed the music video for her Lil' Kim-assisted track "Wake Me Up" on November 16. Directed by Eif Rivera, the dreary visuals sees the fashionably dressed emcees hanging out at several places in New York City.

One of the scenes shows Remy dressing up like a criminal while spitting the lines. Holding two guns in her hands, she raps, "You fake-ass b***h, you owe homage, pay that s**t/ Spray that fif', the crown, I'mma take that s**t/ 'Cause you a clown and Honey don't play that s**t!" Lil' doesn't rap a verse on the track, but she handles the hook and the bridge of it. "Kimmy B don't trust 'em, I bet you Remy bust/ Got these n****s on lock, but we never cuff!" she rhymes.

"Wake Me Up" is the first track that Remy released since signing a new deal with Columbia Records. Remy revealed in an interview with Beats 1 that she made the song to pay homage to Queen Bee. "I wanted to pay homage to Kim," Remy said. "I feel like she is the Madonna of the hip-hop world. Her style is iconic and I wanted to pay homage to that. I was like, 'I want you on this record, but I want you to just be Kim. I want you to be the girl that was squatting down in a leopard thong.' "

The track will also be included in the 37-year-old female emcee's upcoming album "7 Winters & 6 Summers", which is set to be released in early 2018. She stated that the album title was inspired by her time in prison, revealing that she would count down the days until her release in seasons. "I couldn't fathom counting in years," she shared. "So, if I would look out the window and trees were green, and say it was 2012, I knew I got three more summers to go."
