AceShowbiz - Serena Williams is reportedly set to tie the knot with her millionaire fiance, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. Daily Mail has reported that the 36-year-old tennis star and the 34-year-old tech mogul will be getting married in a star-studded wedding ceremony in New Orleans this Thursday, November 16.
The couple, who welcomed their first child less than three months ago, is set to tie the knot in a super secret location, according to the site. In fact, A-list guests such as Beyonce Knowles and her husband Jay-Z, Kris Jenner as well as Ciara will only be given the exact location in the Louisiana city until the morning of the nuptials.
The site has also reported that among Serena's 250 guests, Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle will likely attend the wedding, which will cost more than $1 million. "Serena and Alexis have spared no expense on their dream wedding," an insider told the publication, before suggesting that the wedding would likely take place at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans.
"They have hired the best of the best and can't wait to get married in The Big Easy," the insider said, explaining, "It's a special city for Serena and somewhere she has always loved. Serena and Alexis chose the Contemporary Arts Center because of its incredible architecture and history. They have instructed Preston to fill the hall with thousands of dollars worth of crystals and flowers. The hall will be totally transformed."
In addition, guests will reportedly be banned from using their cell phones at the ceremony because Serena has signed "an exclusive deal" with her good friend and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour to run photographs from the wedding for the mag.
This comes just 11 weeks after Serena gave birth to daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. And because of this, the athlete and her fiance will reportedly have a nanny on hand. "Alexis will have a babysitter on hand just for her the entire night," said the source, adding that "both parents wouldn't dream of not having her there. She will be a part of the wedding as much as possible for an 11-week-old. They are totally and utterly besotted with her."
