Presenting the Belgian director with an Honorary Oscar, the 'Maleficent' actress joins to celebrate Varda's achievement by dancing with the director on the stage.

AceShowbiz - Angelina Jolie was among A-list stars who attended the 2017 Governors Awards on Saturday night, November 11 at The Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood. The 42-year-old actress/director was dazzling in an Elisabetta Franchi beige colored dress featuring gold and silver detailing.

She was on hand to present the Honorary Award to Belgian director Agnes Varda. After handing out the trophy to Varda, Jolie gave the podium to the veteran filmmaker who delivered her speech. Toward the end of her speech, the 89-year-old helmer said she felt like dancing. She spread her hands as the audience applauded her.

As music played, Jolie then stepped forward and began dancing with Varda on the center stage. They swayed from side to side and twirled to the song. Both looked overjoyed as they couldn't stop smiling, before they shared a hug.

Other attendees at the annual ceremony held by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences included Emma Stone, her ex-boyfriend Andrew Garfield, Jennifer Lawrence and her boyfriend Darren Aronofsky. Close friends Stone and Lawrence were pictured goofing around on the red carpet, with the latter photobombing Stone. They were also seen holding hands, dancing and jokingly grinning at each other.

Stone also reunited with her ex Garfield inside the event. According to E! News, the friendly exes were seen talking and laughing together during the dinner break at the event. After the gala, they and their groups walked outside together and chatted on the steps for a while.

Meanwhile, Lawrence and her director boyfriend Aronofsky sat together at a table, although they did not pose together on the red carpet. They kept their relationship low key and did not show PDA at the event. Lawrence was tapped to present her "The Hunger Games" co-star Donald Sutherland with an Honorary Oscar.
