Celebrity

Meanwhile, the birthday girl has announced that she's celebrating her 22nd birthday by giving back to charity, saying that her 'wish this year is to help bring clean water to people who need it.'

AceShowbiz - This is awkward! Caitlyn Jenner and ex-wife Kris Jenner had a face-to-face meet-up for Kendall Jenner's 22nd birthday. The exes were among those gathering at West Hollywood restaurant Petite to celebrate the former Victoria's Secret model's birthday on Thursday evening, November 2.

The gathering was meant to celebrate Kendall's milestone, but it nearly took an awkward and tense turn. While all eyes were supposed to be on the birthday girl Kendall, everyone's attention was focused on the awkward reunion between Caitlyn and Kris instead. But still, it's a relief that the exes were able to put their differences aside to spend time with their daughter at her birthday celebration.

Aside from Caitlyn and Kim, Kendall's half sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian made it out for the celebration. The oldest Kardashian sister was accompanied by her much younger beau Younes Bendjima, while the mother of two arrived at the venue with her rapper hubby Kanye West. Kendall's beau Blake Griffin was also spotted at the bash. Her younger sister Kylie Jenner, meanwhile, was nowhere to be seen amid pregnancy rumors.

The party aside, Kendall has announced that she has decided to raise money for Charity: Water for her 22nd birthday. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star took to Twitter on Friday to share a link to her donation page to spread awareness for the cause.

"Hey guys! I'm celebrating my 22nd birthday on November 3rd and my wish this year is to help bring clean water to people who need it," she wrote. "I'd be so grateful to anyone who can support my effort by donating to charity: water through my birthday campaign."

"I fell in love with charity: water and am deeply impressed with the organization and the work they do," the brunette stunner continued. "I made a donation to fund 25 wells in Ethiopia that will bring clean water to 5,000 people, and I can't wait to see how many more lives we can change together."

Kendall revealed that "100|percent| of the money will be used to build clean water projects for these communities." She told her online followers, "Even donating $22 to celebrate me turning 22 would be so great!" adding, "Every amount helps. Thank you all so much!"

Her mom Kris and sister Kylie have each donated $5,000 to the campaign, which has already raised more than $35,000.
