Post Malone and 21 Savage's 'Rockstar' Dethrones Cardi B's 'Bodak Yellow' on Billboard Hot 100

The 'Congratulations' rapper's new song continues to soar and finally dethrones Cardi B's 'Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)', which had ruled the chart for three weeks.

AceShowbiz - Post Malone finally scores his first No. 1 song on Billboard Hot 100 chart with "Rockstar" featuring 21 Savage. The song, which was released on September 26, attained 51.3 million U.S. streams, not including the benefit from the official video, in the week ending October 12, according to Nielsen Music.

Malone previously hit No. 8 on the chart with "Congratulations". This is the first song for both Malone and 21 Savage that nabs No. 1 on the chart. Furthermore, the song is the third song to spend its first three weeks at No. 2 before rising to No. 1, following Mariah Carey's "Always Be My Baby" and Eminem's "Love the Way You Lie" featuring Rihanna.

Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)" descends to No. 2 with 46.1 million streams after topping the chart for three weeks. Despite the fall, the former chart-topper is still nominated for the longest-leading Hot 100 No. 1 by a female artist in 2017. Meanwhile, Logic's "1-800-273-8255" featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid ascends to No. 3 with 31.2 million streams.

Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" returns to No. 4 after dropping to No. 5 last week. Although the song is no longer first on Hot 100, it hits No. 1 on Pop Songs airplay chart. Portugal. The Man's "Feel It Still" rises to No. 5 in its 17th week on the chart with 14.1 million streams.

Meanwhile, J Balvin and Willy William's "Mi Gente" featuring Beyonce Knowles drops to No. 6 after hitting No. 3 last week. The song obtained 27.7 million streams in the week ending October 12.
