The new song finds the songstress and the country star professing their love to one another over familiar cheery Christmas tune.

AceShowbiz - Move aside, Mariah Carey! Gwen Stefani is releasing a Christmas album this year. To welcome the holiday season, the "Hollaback Girl" hitmaker has released a duet with her boyfriend Blake Shelton from the upcoming effort.

The lovebirds showcase their vocal prowess over the cheery tune. They trade sweet lyrics and adorably profess their love to each other. "Sweet gingerbread made with molasses/ My heart skipped and I reacted," they sing. "Can't believe that this is happening/ Like a present sent from God/ Sleigh bells singing hallelujah/ Stars are shining on us, too/ I wanna thank you, baby/ You make it feel like Christmas."

The Christmas album will follow up Gwen's latest studio effort "This Is What the Truth Feels Like". Other tracks off the set include "Christmas Eve", "My Gift Is You", "Under the Christmas Lights" and "When I Was a Little Girl". Gwen co-wrote all the songs with Justin Tranter and songwriter Busbee.

Prior to this, Gwen teased the new album while saying, "I've been working on new music, which I'm so excited to release this year. I can't say too much about it just yet, but I've had so much fun in the studio."

Gwen and Blake previously collaborated on "Go Ahead and Break My Heart", which was featured on the country singer's 2016 album "If I'm Honest". "Anytime I've ever collaborated with anyone, it's always my favorite," she said of the collaboration. "But to do something with him--because he's so talented and comes from such a different world--to make music together, it was just so shocking! So amazing to do it live and share it with everybody."

As for Blake, the crooner has announced his eleventh studio album that will also arrive later this year. Titled "Texoma Shore", the effort will be released on November 3. "Lake Texoma has always been a place of great memories, new and old," he said in a statement. "I literally recorded this album her at its shore, so it's full circle to have the love of this place and the love of country music come together."
