AceShowbiz - Heather Locklear was involved in a single-car accident in Los Angeles on Thursday evening, September 14. The former "Melrose Place" star was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries following the car crash, according to a new report from TMZ.
Detailing the crash, the site says Locklear accidentally drove her Porsche into a ditch at around 6 P.M. PST in Thousand Oaks. Cops do not suspect drugs or alcohol to be involved in the crash. Locklear, who is reported to have been alert at the scene, was not cited for the accident.
Rep for the actress has not commented on the report. The former "Spin City" actress was previously arrested in 2008 for suspicion of driving under the influence in Santa Barbara.
The latest accident happened just days after Locklear attended an event in Los Angeles that marked her first public appearance in over a year. She stopped by the Farrah Fawcett Foundation's Tex-Mex Fiesta at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills on Saturday evening, September 9.
Locklear showed off her famous figure in a blue floral outfit that featured a plunging neckline. Her blonde locks were parted in the middle and worn down. The blonde bombshell looked to be in good spirits as she posed with Alana Stewart, who also looked gorgeous in a red, one-shoulder dress.
Locklear is best known for her TV shows "Dynasty", "T.J. Hooker", "Melrose Place", "Spin City" and "Franklin & Bash". Her love life has always caused some waves. She was married to Motley Crue's drummer Tommy Lee from 1986 to 1993. After their divorce, she married Bon Jovi's guitarist Richie Sambora in 1994 in Paris.
She welcomed daughter Ava Elizabeth Sambora three years later. In 2006, she filed for divorce from Sambora. Locklear began a relationship with fellow "Melrose Place" alum Jack Wagner in the following year. They announced they were engaged in August 2011, before calling it off in November that same year.
