AceShowbiz - Janet Jackson is definitely one hot mama! Eight months after giving birth to her first child, Eissa, the "Love Will Never Do" singer showed off her amazing post-baby body on Thursday, September 7 at the opening night of her "State of the World" tour in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Janet opted for her signature all-black looks during her performances. She showcased her slimmed-down figure in an array of form-fitting outfits as she danced and sang onstage. The Grammy-winning singer also traded her all-black ensembles for a more casual one, wearing a fitted white sweater, a pair of tight jeans and knee-high boots.
Janet sang her hits like "Nasty", "Miss You Much" and "All For You" while interacting with fans in the crowd. A concertgoer shared some videos from the concert, one of which featured a moment where the new mom was talking about her return to touring. "You know I came to snatch a couple of weeks," she said.
Janet's second tour stop is set for Saturday, September 9 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The "What Have You Done for Me" singer will be dedicating her performance to those affected by Hurricane Harvey and is donating the show's proceeds to local flood relief charities.
On Friday, Janet was spotted with Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner as she's visiting and meeting with evacuees who were staying at the George R. Brown Convention Center. "She brought smiles and hugs," an eyewitness shared with E!News. "She seemed very touched seeing all these people sleeping on cots and her dancers were also very moved."
Last month, Janet shared a photo of herself preparing for the tour on Instagram. The singer wrote in the caption, "Hey u guys. I'm so excited for the State of the World Tour. We r in rehearsal mode. See u guys in 1 month!"
She already looked slimmer in the pic she shared. A source said at the time, "She has lost more than 65 pounds and has her pre-baby body back and then some," adding, "It's a grueling schedule but she is up to the task."
