The 'Jack Reacher' actor reportedly feels betrayed that his former co-star, whom he considered a close friend, is dating his ex-wife.

AceShowbiz - When someone is dating his friend's ex-wife, it can't be avoided that things will turn awkward. That is likely the case with Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx, who has been dating Tom's ex Katie Holmes for years before recently going public with their romance.
Tom and Jamie were co-stars in 2004's film "Collateral" and they're reportedly close friends until the "Django Unchained" star began dating Katie in 2013, around a year after Katie divorced Tom. "Tom has known about Katie and Jamie's secret relationship since the beginning and he has always been pissed about them hooking up," a source close to Tom tells HollywoodLife.com.
"While Katie and Jamie did their best to keep things a secret from the world, Tom is too well-connected and found out about them shortly after their romance began," the source adds. "Tom is shocked, bitter and upset that Katie is dating a costar he considered a close friend. He feels betrayed by both of them."
Katie and Jamie reportedly tried to keep their relationship under the radar for four years out of respect for Tom. Five years after she filed for divorce, the couple no longer tried to hide their relationship as they were spotted holding hands while strolling the beach in Malibu on Labor Day.
They looked relaxed and shared a laugh as they waded barefoot in the surf and dodged the surf. They reportedly stayed in an oceanfront home where they were also seen spending time together on the beachfront patio. The couple appeared to notice that someone took their pictures, but they didn't seem to be bothered at all.
Stepping out for the first time since their PDA pictures, Katie looked happy at New York Fashion Week on Thursday, September 7. She was smiling ear to ear as she attended Adam Dalton Blake, Tiffany Huang and Ghazaleh Khalifeh's shows.
She looked fresh in a black halter dress with a red and yellow floral pattern. She wore pointy black pumps and arranged her brown locks in loose wavy style. She accessorized with bracelets and a ring, and wore minimal makeup.
