AceShowbiz - The first trailer for Bobbi Kristina Brown biopic has made its way out for viewing pleasure. The one-minute video offers a glimpse of the tumultuous life of the late daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston.

Released via E! News, the trailer shows Bobbi's complicated relationship with Nick Gordon and her struggles to live in the shadow of her famous mother Whitney Houston. "He's the single best things that's happened to me after my mom," she cries after being told that Nick is "a troubled young man." "Everything is always about Whitney," she also says during an argument with her mom.

Called "Bobbi Kristina", the made-for-TV movie offers an "intimate look at the highs and lows of parental, familial and romantic love complicated by fame through the eyes of a sensitive, vulnerable young woman." The biopic also promises to "reveal her humor, quirks, deepest fears and longings."

It is slated to premiere Sunday, October 8 at 7 P.M. ET on TV One. The trailer, meanwhile, is set to air Monday night, August 28 on the network during the premiere of "When Love Kills: The Falicia Blakely Story".

Joy Rovaris ("Stuck in the Middle") plays Bobbi, Demetria McKinney portrays the late legendary singer Whitney Houston, and Hassan Johnson stars as Bobby Brown. Nadji Jeter ("Grown Ups") takes on the role of Nick Gordon, with Vivica A. Fox playing Whitney's sister-in-law Pat Houston.

Bobbi Kristina, Whitney and Bobby's only daughter together, died in July 2015 at the age of 22, after months in a medically induced coma. Her father Bobby alleged that Nick Gordon kept giving his daughter "a toxic combination of drugs and alcohol" before she was found unconscious in her bathtub in January 2015.

Bobbi's family sued Nick, whom she previously considered her "big brother" before they got engaged in October 2012, claiming that he's responsible for her untimely passing. Bobbi's family won the civil lawsuit and a judge ordered him to pay $36,250,000 million.
