The 'What I've Been Looking for' hitmaker just slyly took a jab at Taylor for her vengeful new track 'Look What You Made Me Do'.

AceShowbiz - Ashley Tisdale took to Twitter on Saturday, August 26 to comment on Taylor Swift's decision to lash out with her new music. The "What I've Been Looking for" hitmaker took a jab at the "Shake It Off" hitmaker for her vengeful new track "Look What You Made Me Do".

Many fans have suggested that Taylor's new song is taking aim at her nemesis Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian for the way they tricked her in a recorded phone conversation. She sings, "I don't like your little games/ Don't like your tilted stage/ The role you made me play Of the fool, no, I don't like you/ I don't like your perfect crime/ How you laugh when you lie/ You said the gun was mine/ Isn't cool, no, I don't like you (oh!)."

Ashley wrote, "Music is supposed to bring us together. It's supposed to unite us. When we have artists targeting each other for the sake of controversy...The art suffers. When will try to stop bringing each other down and start lifting us up when we live in a world that's doing exactly that?" The "High School Musical" singer, however, insisted her series of tweets were not directed at any one person. "And I'm not talking about one person I'm talking about the music in general," she explained.

Ashley was later hit with negative comments from Taylor's fans. A fan commented, "Okay...but what Taylor is doing is telling her side of the story. What would you do if you where in her position when the media builds her up just to tear her down? Taylor writes what she is going through and how's she's feeling. However, I do understand music should be about." The singer replied, "I can promise you that's not what this tweet is about."

Another fan told Ashley, "Sorry gal this aint Disney world." She responded, "It doesn't have to be. When I listen to music it helps me with whatever I'm going through but if I'm listening to a song that I know is."
