AceShowbiz - Is Kendall Jenner going to steal Zayn Malik from Gigi Hadid? Rumor has it, the 21-year-old model and the former One Direction member have been sending each other flirty text messages behind Gigi's back.
According to OK!, Kendall and Gigi's friendship has started to fizzle out, causing Kendall to think that it's okay for her to try to get close to Zayn. "She's always found him super hot, but resisted the urge [to hit on him] out of loyalty to Gigi," a source tells the website. "Their friendship's pretty worn out right now, so she doesn't see the problem in texting Zayn back and forth."
However, things will probably turn out awkward between the three of them if Gigi ever finds out. "Trouble is, while they may not have slept together - yet - it's highly inappropriate for them to be texting and talking so often, especially since Gigi has no idea!" the source dishes.
The source further explains that the "PILLOWTALK" hitmaker even talks bad about his girlfriend with Kendall. "They'll sign off with XOs and kissing emojis, and Zayn's even been b***hing about Gigi, with Kendall lapping it up and getting a buzz out of the forbidden nature of it all," the source shares.
It remains to be seen whether Kendall and Zayn will eventually become a couple, but it was reported that Gigi and Zayn were trying for a baby. "Gigi and Zayn are madly in love right now and they both talk about marriage and babies all the time, especially now two of his old [One Direction] bandmates are daddies," a source revealed. "He really wants to settle down with Gigi, ideally in the U.K., and they're not using protection."
The "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" crooner also came to Gigi's defense when his ex-girlfriend Perrie Edwards appeared to take a jab at the model during their concert. "Zayn is disappointed in Perrie," another insider said. "There is really no need to keep rehashing the past and stirring up drama. Furthermore, if she feels like she has to say something, she should come at him. He's the one who hurt her. But he wants her to leave Gigi out of it-Gigi didn't do anything to Perrie so there's no reason to try and hurt her."
