New 'Avengers 4' Set Photos Confirm Gwyneth Paltrow's Return

AceShowbiz - She's back! Gwyneth Paltrow is officially returning for "Avengers 4". The actress was spotted on the set of the upcoming Marvel film with co-stars Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo and Jon Favreau on Tuesday, August 22.

In some pictures obtained by Daily Mail, the Goop founder was seen smiling as she was rehearsing a scene in Fayetteville, North Carolina with her male co-stars, who were dressed casually. She donned a black tank top and white high-waisted pants, while her long, blonde locks were let loose with soft beach waves.

The actress, who plays Pepper Potts in all three "Iron Man" films and "The Avengers", recently reprised the role in "Spider-Man: Homecoming".

Downey Jr. also confirmed Paltrow's return by sharing on his Instagram account a picture of him with his on-screen love interest as well as Favreau, who plays Tony's chauffeur and personal assistant Happy Hogan, on the set. They appeared to have dressed in their characters' costumes. He captioned it with "Infinity Trinity ... #infinitywar."

Despite the hashtag, they're actually currently filming "Avengers 4" which kicked off its principal photography earlier this month, four weeks after they wrapped up the production of "Infinity War". Anthony and Joe Russo return as directors.

The official cast lineup is yet to be announced, but Brie Larson's Captain Marvel, Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange are rumored to appear in the upcoming movie. It is scheduled to arrive on May 3, 2019.

As for "Infinity War", it has Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Tom Holland, Josh Brolin and "Guardians of the Galaxy" stars in the cast. It is due to open in theaters across the nation on May 4, 2018.
