Scary clowns, a butcher, beehive, body parts and bloody make-out scene are among disturbing things featured in the opening credits.

AceShowbiz - Prior to "American Horror Story: Cult" premiere this fall, FX has released the opening credits. The approximately-one-minute video includes reference to Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, and has a lot of disturbing imagery.

Someone is seen wearing a Trump mask. Moments later, another mystery figure puts on a mask of Trump's real-life political adversary, Clinton. Combining images from previous promo videos and posters, there are also scary clowns, knife-wielding butcher, body parts, bees congregating on hives and bloody make-out session, which hint that the show is not for someone with a weak stomach.

In between those scenes, the names of the key cast members, including Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Cheyenne Jackson, Billie Lourd and Alison Pill, are flashed on the screen.

"Cult" will revolve around the 2016 U.S. election and kick off on the election night, "illuminating and highlighting people who don't have a voice in our culture -- people who are ignored by the current administration and who are afraid and feel terrorized that their lives are going to be taken away."

Executive producer Alexis Martin Woodall explained the theme at the TCA, "I would say honestly that when Ryan had made the announcement originally that the season would deal with Trump, it's more about what's going on in the world around us. We talk about the streak of paranoia, and a lot of it launches from that. It's not what you think it is. As with all good horror and suspense, knowing less is so much more. But it's an element in our launch point."

Also set to star in the new season of the horror anthology series are Emma Roberts, Colton Haynes, Adina Porter, Frances Conroy, Mare Winningham, Leslie Grossman, Billy Eichner and Lena Dunham. "Cult" is set to premiere September 5 on FX.
