An array of new character posters provide a stylish new look at Jamie Chung's Blink, Emma Dumont's Polaris, Sean Teale's Eclipse and Blair Redford's Thunderbird.

AceShowbiz - It's still about two months away from "The Gifted" premiere date, but FOX has been so active in providing fans with new teasers, stills and posters of the show's characters. The network has released an array of new character posters, which provide a stylish new look at the more established mutants, such as Blink, Polaris, Eclipse and Thunderbird.

One of the posters highlights Polaris, who will be played by Emma Dumont. The poster gives a closer look at her bright green eyes. It also emphasizes her representative color, which is beautifully displayed through her hair and her magnetism. On the show, Polaris, who is a daughter of Magneto, is one of the mutants who are hiding from the notorious Sentinel Services. "She's gonna fight for what she believes in... and don't even try to stop her. OCT 2ND on @FOXTV @TheGiftedonFOX," the actress writes alongside the picture on her Twitter account.

Blink's (Jamie Chung) poster, meanwhile, highlights the mutant's signature green eyes and purple locks. Even when the poster features only the right side of her face, Blink can be seen looking fierce than ever. Blink, whose real name is Clarice Fong, possesses a mutant ability to create dimension-warping portals that can teleport people and objects. The character was portrayed by Fan Bing Bing in "X-Men: Days of Future Past".

Another mutant who is getting a poster is Sean Teale's Eclipse. As his mutant ability is to control photons, his poster is dominated by the color of yellow. Eclipse, whose real name is Marco Diaz, displayed his power when he turned light into a kind of energy beam in the trailer.

Meanwhile, Blair Redford's Thunderbird poster doesn't feature much of visual effects as his ability lies on his superhuman strength and physical powers. His powers include enhanced strength, speed, durability, stamina and superhuman senses, shown by how he sensed the arrival of the Sentinels by touching the ground in the trailer. Thunderbird or John Proudstar is an Apache who was recruited by Professor X into the "Second Genesis" of the X-Men in "Giant-Size X-Men" #1.

"The Gifted" tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

Matt Nix writes the script while Bryan Singer directs the pilot. Nix and Singer also serve as executive producers alongside Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory.

Also starring Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Natalie Alyn Lind, Percy Hynes White and Coby Bell, "The Gifted" will premiere on Monday, October 2 at 9 P.M. on FOX.
