Ben Affleck May Not Be Doing 'The Batman' After All
Movie

Ben's brother Casey Affleck jokingly calls Ben's Batman 'ok' and praises his performance, before saying, 'But he's not going to do that movie.'

AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck's involvement in "The Batman" has been in limbo for months, with many believing that Warner Bros. is even planning his exit from the DC film franchise. But according to Warner Bros. Pictures Group chief Toby Emmerich and Matt Reeves, who takes over the helming duties of the film from Ben, the actor will remain in the role for his film.

However, Ben may not be doing "The Batman" after all, if his brother's Casey Affleck is to be believed. When appearing as a guest on WEEI's sports radio show on Tuesday, August 15, Casey was asked if Ben would return for the planned solo film.

After jokingly calling Ben's Batman "ok" and praised his performance, the 42-year-old actor said, "But he's not going to do that movie, I don't think. Sorry to say." When told that this might be considered breaking news, he claimed he just made that up, though.

It remains to be seen whether or not Ben will reprise his role as the Caped Crusader in "The Batman". Both the actor and the studio haven't commented on Casey's revelation. Fans can next see Ben's Batman in "Justice League" which is coming to theaters across the nation on November 17.
