AceShowbiz - It looks like Amy Schumer has found a new man in her life. Since her split from Ben Hanisch in May, the 36-year-old comedienne has been reportedly "growing closer" to her longtime pal John Mayer. Rumor has it, the two are currently dating as they "have been on a few dates" together.
"Amy and John have been friends for years but they have been growing closer over the past few months. They are both completely down to earth, and that's why they get on so well," a source tells The Sun. "It is early days but they have been on a few dates and she even shared a photograph of themselves on Instagram last month after they attended a comedy gig together."
"John is in the middle of a world tour and she is filming, which has made it hard for them to see each other," the source shares. "But they are talking a lot and they have been flirting on Instagram. They are definitely having fun."
Back in June, Amy revealed that she was dating a new man. "I'm dating this new dude. He's awesome, he's like Stephen Hawking, sexually," she said at that time. And it makes so much sense now, as John's ex-girlfriend Katy Perry thinks the singer deserves a gold medal in sex department.
