The latest episode titled 'The Spoils of War' scored 10.2 million viewers for its debut airing Sunday night.

AceShowbiz - The leak of the latest episode of "Game of Thrones" ahead of its airing on HBO apparently did little to no harm to the show. In fact, "The Spoils of War", which was leaked three days before its debut airing Sunday night, August 6 at 9 P.M. on the premium cable channel, just posted the biggest ratings ever for the show.

The fourth episode of the series' season 7 scored 10.2 million viewers for its debut airing. It surpassed the show's previous all-time record holder, the season 7 premiere titled "Dragonstone", which pulled in 10.1 million viewers for its debut airing and has now raked in 30 million viewers in repeats, streaming and DVR playback.

The recent leak of "Game of Thrones" episode was not part of the massive HBO hack, but came from distribution partner Star India, whose logo appears as a watermark in the pirated copy of the episode.

Meanwhile, the group of hackers who claimed to have obtained 1.5 terabytes of data from HBO recently demanded a multimillion-dollar ransom from the company for the stolen data. The hackers threatened to dump videos of future shows online with their logo "HBO Is Falling" superimposed if the network doesn't pay the ransom.
