AceShowbiz - Juan Pablo Galavis isn't a bachelor anymore! After a year of dating, the former professional football player and his girlfriend Osmariel Villalobos tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Miami. Chris Harrison revealed the happy news during the season finale of "The Bachelorette".
According to Us Weekly, "only very close family and friends were invited" to the wedding. "They both wanted to keep the wedding very, very secret," a source told the website. "All their friends and family knew they were going to tie the knot eventually, but it was a surprise to a lot of their family members!"
The source shared that the small wedding ceremony in Miami was only held for documentation purposes. They would have another ceremony in their home country of Venezuela. "The couple could not be more in love," the source added.
Osmariel previously posted on Instagram photos of her wearing a beautiful wedding gown by Alejandro Fajardo. One of the photos saw her smiling brightly at the camera. "THANKS to so many people who worked with me in SECRET to make this dream come true. I'm going to start with my LOVED AND ADORED @alejandrofajardovnzla and all his team," she captioned the pic, originally in Spanish.
Another photo featured her and Juan kissing. She wrote in the caption, "I love my husband."
Juan first knew Osmariel after a mutual friend showed him her photo. He later followed the TV host on Instagram, but didn't personally contact her until he watched a video of her dancing with her nephew. "I thought it was cute, so I commented on her Instagram," Juan told PEOPLE last year.
"She replied to me, and then I wrote to her on private message. We talked about her nephew, and she said that she was spoiling him!" he continued. "We exchanged numbers and then we started texting each other. And it started that way."
