AceShowbiz - Serena Williams held a 1950s-themed baby shower with her older sister Venus Williams and closest girl friends on Saturday, August 5 in West Palm Beach, Florida. The soon-to-be mom has taken to her Instagram account to share a slideshow of photos from the celebration.
Serena and her friends, including Ciara, Eva Longoria, La La Vazquez, Kelly Rowland and songwriter Angie Beyince, were clad in cute poodle skirts as they struck fierce poses in front of an old-style pickup truck. They wore vintage hairstyles and bandanas.
"When you and your crew go so far back to the 50's. Even they had your back," so Williams captioned the pics taken at Nick's 50's Diner which the girls called Baby O's Diner for the celebration.
Ciara has also shared the same photo on her own account, adding a sweet caption, "That's 1 Fly Mamma 2 Be In The Middle! [pregnant woman emoji]#Girls @SerenaWilliams 50's Baby Shower. #ShakeRattleandRoll2017."
The wife of Russell Wilson has also posted other cute photos and a video from the bash. "O' Baby!! Love You Rena. Truly an Exciting Time! #Memories. #ShakeRattleandRoll2017," she captioned the brief clip that saw her, Serena and Venus dancing playfully.
This will be the first child for Serena and fiance Alexis Ohanian, whom she got engaged to in December 2016 after dating for more than a year. The tennis star accidentally announced her pregnancy in April when she shared what was meant to be a private photo of her blossoming belly on Snapchat.
