Robert and Katy were recently seen enjoying a "romantic" dinner date at the Sunset Tower Hotel's WeHo restaurant in Los Angeles. In a photo obtained by TMZ, the two looked "super cozy" while sitting next to each other on the same side of the table, with the actor looking at the songstress intently.

Robert and Katy have been friends for years. They have been rumored to be dating since 2013, when they crashed a wedding rehearsal together. Following the actor's split from Kristen Stewart, Katy reached out to the actress to clear the air. "I sent her a text message saying: 'I know you've seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I'm not that person,' " she previously said.
While Katy has been seemingly enjoying her single life after splitting from Orlando Bloom earlier this year, Robert recently claimed that he's "kind of" engaged to his singer girlfriend FKA twigs. "Yeah, kind of...She's amazing," he said. "She's super talented, and from a totally different world."
On why he likes to keep his romance private, the actor added, "For whatever reason with 'Twilight', I don't know if it's a specific thing with the audience, but there's like a crack troop of crazies who think every single decision you're making is creating some kind of conspiracy."
