AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner proves that you can be friends with your former mother-in-law. The "13 Going on 30" actress was photographed taking a friendly stroll with Ben Affleck's mom, Christine Anne Boldt, on Tuesday, August 1 in Brentwood, Los Angeles.
Jennifer and her estranged husband's mom looked like two old friends who were enjoying a sunny outing after a while. The ladies were having a blast as they were seen smiling, laughing and embracing throughout their walk.
During the outing, Jennifer opted for a casual look in a preppy sleeveless white blouse and a pair of jeans. She completed her look with black strappy sandals and sunglasses, while leather tote slung over her shoulder. Christine, meanwhile, wore a bright blue tee and white pants. At one point, Jennifer could be seen offering Christine her shades as the latter apparently felt the sun was too strong for her.
Jennifer remains good friends with the "Justice League" actor after filing for divorce. They have been co-parenting their three children, 11-year-old Violet, 8-year-old Seraphina and 5-year-old Samuel.
While Jennifer spent a quality time with Ben's mom, the brother of Casey Affleck reportedly jetted off to Maine for a romantic getaway with new girlfriend Lindsay Shookus. "He recently wrapped filming on 'Justice League' and is enjoying his summer," a friend of Ben's told PEOPLE. "He also really enjoys spending time with Lindsay. It won't be surprising to see them out and about and together in the coming weeks."
