Paul McCartney Hints He Will Write a Song About Donald Trump for New Album

The 'Band on the Run' hitmaker will likely criticize Trump on the new song as he thinks 'the situation in the world is so crazy, that you've got to address it.'

AceShowbiz - It looks like Paul McCartney has a lot to say about Donald Trump. Speaking to students at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) over the weekend, The Beatles' singer hinted that he would write a song about the controversial POTUS for his upcoming album.

While he didn't reveal whether the song would be in favor of Trump or not, he had seemingly made it his duty to make the track. "Sometimes the situation in the world is so crazy, that you've got to address it," so the 75-year-old singer said.

It is no secret that McCartney isn't a fan of Trump, so the new song will likely be a scathing criticism instead of pro-Trump ballad. "I'm not a fan at all. He's unleashed a kind of violent prejudice that is sometimes latent among people," he said in an interview earlier this month.

"He's unleashed the ugly side of America," he added. "People feel like they have got a free pass to be, if not violent, at least antagonistic towards people of a different color or a different race. I think we all thought we'd got past that a long time ago."
