'He's a good kid, though,' says photographer Maurice Lamont in an Instagram video, before adding that 'the truck was a little too big' for the 'Love Yourself' crooner.

AceShowbiz - The past few days have been tough for Justin Bieber, following his "Purpose" Tour cancellation and a car collision in Beverly Hills when the singer accidentally hit a paparazzo with his truck. The victim, who is identified as Maurice Lamont, now has taken to his Instagram account to share the story of what happened at that time which led him to suffer non-life threatening injuries.

"Hanging in there everybody. Hour before my birthday hits, I get ran over by Justin Bieber. Isn't that something?" Lamont, who was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, says in a video taken straight from his hospital bed. "He's a good kid, though. I think the truck was a little bit too big for him though 'cause there's no way he could see over the front-the slope it was on."

He goes on saying, "But like I said: He got out, he was compassionate, he's a good kid, accidents happen. Hopefully everything works out here. Getting ready to go into X-ray right now!" He captions the video, "WOW WHAT A WAY TO BRING IN MY BIRTHDAY! SHOTGETTER POWER! I WISH BIEBER WAS STILL ON TOUR!!"

It was reported that as Justin was leaving Hillsong Church services at Saban Theater on Wednesday night, July 26, he accidentally slammed his monster pickup truck onto Lamont. Lamont, who was one of the photographers surrounding the "Sorry" hitmaker's car, was hit by the front right side of the car before lying on the ground in pain. The Canadian heartthrob reportedly stayed at the scene until paramedics and authorities arrived.
