AceShowbiz - Are Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp back together? The actress and the rock star have rekindled their romance, according to Page Six. The two called it quits in 2014 after dating for three years. While they remained friendly following the split, the pair allegedly have been together for "a few months" now. A source tells the site, "Meg was at his recent Forest Hills Stadium concert, dancing on the side of the stage."
Meg and John fueled the reconciliation rumors as they were recently spotted taking a stroll in New York City. The two opted for casual looks as they both sported a pair of dark sunglasses and a black jacket. Earlier this year, John claimed that Meg "hates me to death." Despite his revelation, he was often seen hanging out with the actress.
Back in 2014, the two were said to be splitting because of distance. "It was the distance. She lives in New York and he resides in Indiana," a source previously revealed. "It was the long distance that ultimately was the cause."
Meg was married once to actor Dennis Quaid for ten years, from 1991 to 2001. The two share a son named Jack Quaid. Meanwhile, John has five children, three daughters and two sons, from his past three marriages.
