Girls' Generation Announces Tenth-Anniversary Album 'Holiday Night'

The 'Gee' hitmaker will release some teaser clips featuring each member ahead of the release of the album on August 7.

AceShowbiz - Girls' Generation has been one of the biggest girl groups in K-Pop for almost a decade, and next month, they will celebrate their tenth anniversary by releasing a new album. The group's sixth studio effort titled "Holiday Night" will arrive on August 7 and feature ten tracks, including two lead singles titled "All Night" and "Holiday".

Following the announcement, SM Entertainment shared a teaser clip for the upcoming album which found one of the group's members, Yoona, reflecting on her years with Girls' Generation. "I think there's a different energy that comes out when promoting as Girls' Generation," she said. "It's the time when I've been the happiest. I was able to meet the other members, and I have a lot of great memories. I think I've been doing well." More teasers will be released next week.

The eight-piece group will hold their fan meeting "Holiday to Remember" at the Seoul Olympic Hall on August 5. At this event, they will be debuting some songs off the new album ahead of its official release date.

"Holiday Night" will follow-up "Lion Heart", which was released in 2015. In the meantime, Girls' Generation is slated to make some appearances on variety shows, such as "Happy Together" and "Running Man".
