'Dark s**t happens in the first part of the film, in the beginning, and the rest of the film is kind of dealing with that,' says the actor, who will reprise his role as Weasel in the upcoming sequel.

AceShowbiz - "Deadpool 2" is currently filming ahead of its summer 2018 release date. Actor T.J. Miller, who will reprise his role as Weasel in the sequel to the 2016 R-rated superhero flick, has revealed what to expect from the upcoming movie.

Speaking to Screen Rant, Miller hints at "dark" plot and tone for the "Deadpool" sequel. "It's not going to be like [The Hangover Part II']," reveals the 36-year-old actor/comedian. "It's not going to be the same movie in a different location, for instance."

"It's got different stakes, different things happen, some pretty tragic, dark s**t happens in the first part of the film, in the beginning, and the rest of the film is kind of dealing with that, so that's interesting," he continues. "But Weasel remains just absolutely the most selfish individual on the face of the planet."

Miller also believes that "Deadpool 2" could be "funnier" than the first movie, as he laughed so hard when reading the script that he "dropped an iPad in a public restaurant." He tells Screen Rant that "this installment is going to be more Weasel-icious than ever before."

"As [Ryan Reynolds] and I were talking about, it's this great thing where we know the tone, we know the stakes, everybody's played these characters before - most importantly, we know the tone, we know how to hit it pitch perfect," Miller shares. "So I think it might actually be funnier than the first one. I'm really, really excited."

"Deadpool 2" has begun filming since June with David Leitch on board as a director. Slated to be released on June 1, 2018, the sequel will also see the return of Morena Baccarin as Reynolds' on-screen fiancee Vanessa, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, as well as Leslie Uggams as Blind Al. Josh Brolin has joined the cast to play Cable.
