Jon Snow faces another opposition in his leadership, while Daenerys Targaryen and her crew are planning a strike at King's Landing which Queen Cersei has been anticipating.
"Game of Thrones" is officially back. The seventh season premiere aired on Sunday, July 16 to end the long drought for new episodes, and it's followed by a preview for the second episode that will air next week.
The 20-second video opens with a scene in the Great Hall, where Jon Snow faces another opposition in his leadership. The King in the North may propose his idea to join forces with Daenerys Targaryen, but someone says, "A Targaryen cannot be trusted."
At Dragonstone, Dany and her hand hatch out a plan to strike the King's Landing. Meanwhile, Queen Cersei is calling her Small Council to warn them about Dany's attack. The preview also offers a glimpse of Yara hooking up with Ellaria Sand, and Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish who is in danger as someone appears to strangle him.
"Stormborn" airs Sunday, July 23 at 9 P.M. on HBO. According to the official synopsis, Daenerys receives an unexpected visitor. Jon faces a revolt. Tyrion plans the conquest of Westeros.
