Disney showed off first footage from "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" during D23 Expo on Saturday, July 15 in Anaheim, California. The video offers behind-the-scenes footage, commentaries from the cast, sneak peek at some scenes including Carrie Fisher's final appearance as General Leia.
Daisy Ridley returns as Rey, John Boyega as Finn, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Lupita Nyong'o as Maz Kanata, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Dohmnall Gleeson as General Hux, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, and Andy Serkis as Snoke.
Directed by Rian Johnson ("Looper"), the second installment of the new "Star Wars" trilogy is coming out Stateside on May 24, 2019. Along with the behind-the-scene video, Disney drops a series of character posters for the upcoming film.
