The 'Dance Moms' alum has reported to FCI Victorville to begin her 366-day prison sentence after she pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud.

AceShowbiz - Abby Lee Miller officially began her 1-year prison sentence as she reported to FCI Victorville prison in California on Wednesday, July 12. The 50-year-old dance instructor was charged with bankruptcy fraud back in 2015.

According to ET, Abby arrived at the facility at 12:05 P.M., nearly two hours before the 2:00 P.M. deadline. "This is an extremely emotional day for Ms. Miller," Abby's lawyer, Robert Ridge, said in a statement. "Earlier today, Ms. Miller expressed to us that she is looking forward to starting the process of completing her obligations set by the Court. She has accepted that this matter will never truly be ‘behind her,' but this chapter of the process has begun and there is now an end in sight."

Abby previously said that she only wanted to enjoy her days before going to jail. "Right now I just kind of want to enjoy some laughter and some fun," she told ET. "I have some friends coming out from Pittsburgh that have been with me through thick and thin for 20 years before the TV show, so they're gonna come out and we're just gonna maybe reminisce and laugh about the old times and talk about everyone we know and who might have all that money."

In addition to her prison sentence, Abby was ordered to pay a $40,000 fine and serve two years of probation after completing her sentence. She would have to live in a place "approved by the probation officer" during her probation period.

Abby was indicted on 20 charges of bankruptcy fraud, concealment of assets and false bankruptcy declarations. She later pleaded guilty to concealing assets and not reporting an international transaction in 2016. "Events over the past several months have been extremely challenging for me, my family, my friends and most important, my students," she said. "Because of this I made the very difficult decision to close the door on this chapter of my life by accepting responsibility for mistakes I have made along the way."
