The "Alias" alum reportedly confronted the "Saturday Night Live" producer after she found out about their romance years ago.
Jennifer was on a work trip to New York City when she approached Lindsay about the affair. The "13 Going On 30" star asked Lindsay to end her and the Batman depicter's relationship. However, a source claimed, "Lindsay said she'd only stop if Ben asked her to," before adding that the relationship "was the breaking point for Jen."
Meanwhile, now that Ben has officially filed divorce from Jennifer, the "Justice League" actor has been enjoying some dates with his alleged new girlfriend. The 44-year-old hunk and the producer were spotted enjoying a casual dinner at Beech Street Cafe in Pacific Palisades, California, on Monday, July 10.
Ben wore a gray T-shirt which he paired with jeans and sneakers. His girlfriend, meanwhile, looked equally casual in sleeveless white top and distressed black jeans. Lindsay, who carried a denim jacket, completed the look with a pair of tan flats. The rumored lovebirds looked happy and were all smiles during the outing.
"Ben and Lindsay have been out together in London, in Los Angeles and he has plans to go visit her in New York as well," revealed an insider. "He isn't relieved that this information is out there, but he is very happy with Lindsay and doesn't want to hide it."
