The 'Keeping Up with the Jonases' actor and his new fiancee are celebrating after confirming their engagement online.

AceShowbiz - Patton Oswalt, 48, popped the big question to his actress girlfriend Meredith Salenger, 47, and she said yes. The couple met through a mutual friend and made their debut on the red carpet of "Baby Driver" premiere in Los Angeles last month.
"I put the ring in a marzipan Slave I replica and said, 'Will you be my Padawan of Love?' She maced me but said yes later," Oswalt joked on Twitter, to which his bride-to-be quickly replied, "I'm marrying THIS nerd. [winky face] #dontbejealous."
She also broke the news on Instagram while showing off her new ring and sharing pictures of her with her soon-to-be family, "It's official. I'm the luckiest happiest girl in the universe!!!! I love you @pattonoswalt I love you Alice Oswalt! #YesYesYes." Alice is Oswalt's daughter with his late wife Michelle McNamara who died in her sleep in 2016.
Before the announcement, Salenger shared a throwback pic from several years ago, "Once upon a time... in 2008... at my friend's wedding... I caught the bouquet... #fairytalesdoexist." After the cat's out of the bag, she proudly flaunted her new rock, "I don't wanna brag... but check out the size of The Rock on my finger! Hahahah." She hilariously added a photoshop of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's pic on it.
And The Rock responded, "Haha that's a big Rock. Tell that prick @pattonoswalt he still owes me. Happy 4 you guys. Congrats!" She chimed in, "Part of my wedding vows will be to remind that prick what The Rock is cookin' My 3 fav rocks: the one on my finger, YOU, & Barack Obama [love emoji]."
The couple also got congratulations from Oswalt's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." co-star Clark Gregg. "This makes me sooooooooo happy," the actor tweeted and Oswalt replied, "Thanks, boss." "Star Wars" actor Mark Hamill reached out to the happy couple as well, "Congratulations @pattonoswalt & @MeredthSalenger-2 of my favorite people... Now under one roof! #SWNerdJoinsForcesWithPadawanOfLoveAtLast!"
