The New England Patriots quarterback has broken his silence following his wife's bombshell revelation that he suffered a concussion during the 2016 season.

AceShowbiz - Tom Brady has finally broken his silence following Gisele Bundchen's controversial concussion comments in May. His model wife revealed that he suffered a concussion during the 2016 season, which was never reported to the National Football League.

"He has concussions pretty much every...I mean we don't talk about it," Gisele told Charlie Rose at the time. "But he has concussions and I don't really think it's a healthy thing for your body to go through. You know, that kind of aggression all the time, that cannot be healthy for you. I'm planning on having him be healthy and do a lot of fun things when we're like 100 I hope."

On Sunday, July 2, Tom addressed what Gisele said during an interview with ESPN's "E:60". Although he didn't deny his wife's claim, he avoided the mention of concussion. When asked by Kevin Negandhi about the concussion claim, the 39-year-old athlete said as transcribed by CBS Sport, "She's there every day."

"I mean, we go to bed in the same bed every night, so I think she knows when I'm sore, she knows when I'm tired, she knows when I get hit," Tom shared. "We drive home together [from games]. But, she also knows how well I take care of myself. She's a very concerned wife and very loving."

The NFL investigated the issue in May and found "no record" that Brady suffered a concussion last year. If what Gisele claimed was true and Brady did hide the fact that he suffered a concussion, this could be a serious violation.
