After 10 years of marriage, the lovebirds recently 'pledged their love for each other again under an ancient beech tree' in front of families and closest friends.

AceShowbiz - Rod Stewart and his young wife Penny Lancaster are still very much in love even after being together for a decade. The couple marked their 10 years of marriage by renewing wedding vows at their Essex, England home. According to HELLO!, the lovebirds recently "pledged their love for each other again under an ancient beech tree."

The couple was joined by their sons Alastair (11) and Aiden (6), alongside Rod's daughters Kimberly (37) and Renee (25) and sons Sean (36) and Liam (22). Also among the attendance was Rod's granddaughter Delilah (5), Kimberly's daughter.

In the photo shared by the publication, both Rod and Penny wore elegant full-white attires. The bride looked stunning in a simple strapless white bridal gown, with her hair beautifully braided. Penny's cute Cavapoo pup Bubbles was spotted behind the couple, who was walking down the aisle for the second time hand-in-hand.

"Penny is my whole world. What a girl," Rod gushed about his wife to the publication. "Love means many things to many people but to me it's wanting to share everything with the one you love and I love Penny more now than ever, if that is at all possible. It was a beautifully romantic thing to do. We're not proving anything, just sharing our love with our friends and family."

The 46-year-old blonde beauty added, "Being able to reflect on those ten years and say those words to one another and still know we mean them is important. This felt more special. You get married with the hope that you'll be together. When we renewed our vows, we said them not with just hope but with a reassurance. Along with hope, there is also faith, love and bringing all the family together."

"On our wedding day ten years ago, everything was a blur apart from Rod and I," the bride continued. "We were in a little bubble and all I could see was him. This time I was very present. I could look around at all the people we love and cherish, and hold onto that moment."

The ceremony was attended by close friends from the spouses. Among the 100 guests were Rod's former Faces' bandmates Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones who came along with their wives Sally and Jayne respectively. "Strictly Come Dancing" professional Ian Waite and former Olympic swimmer Mark Foster were also among the attendance. "Having family and friends there was everything," Rod said. "It makes you stop to think how lucky you are. With so much unrest, violence and loss in this world, family is everything."

The couple was not only celebrating their love by renewing their wedding vows, but also doing a charity work. Penny donated a fee paid by HELLO! to victims of the Grenfell fire.
