The 24-year-old reality star explains in a statement why she felt 'victimized' amid the scandal and confirms that she won't return to the show.

AceShowbiz - Corinne Olympios' legal team has completed its investigation into "Bachelor in Paradise" scandal. While she will not be taking any legal action in the wake of the misconduct allegation, the 24-year-old reality star explains in a statement why she needed to conduct her own investigation.

"In light of the overwhelming amount of misinformation that has been spread in the media, I want to clarify a few things," she states. "My intent over the past few weeks has been to learn and understand what happened on June 4. While I never filed complaints or accusations against anyone associated with 'Bachelor in Paradise', my team and I felt it was very important to be thorough in getting to the bottom of what had occurred."

She continues, "I felt victimized by the fact that others were judging me through conflicting and unsubstantiated reports, while I myself had no recollection of the events that transpired. My team's investigation into this matter has now been completed to my satisfaction. I am also happy about the changes that have been made to the production of 'Bachelor in Paradise'."

Corinne additionally confirms that she won't return to the show, which has resumed filming on season 4 in Mexico. "While I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to have been a participant on 'The Bachelor', and while I was invited to return to 'Bachelor in Paradise' when production resumed, I respectfully made the decision not to return," she says.

She concludes her statement, "I understand the media's interest in this story, and I greatly appreciate my fans' concerns for my well-being, but I think it is best if I keep any further thoughts private for now."

As reported before, production on the fourth season of "The Bachelor" spin-off was temporarily shut down following Corinne and DeMario Jackson's sexual encounter in the pool on June 4. Warner Bros. launched an internal investigation into the issue and declared on June 20 that they found no evidence of any misconduct.

The show has now set new rules to "further ensure the safety and security of all participants." TMZ reported that now contestants must seek approval from one of the producers before engaging in sexual activity of any kind. Other new rules also aim to curb excessive drug and alcohol consumption.
