The Jenner sisters have pulled the controversial T-shirts from their online store after receiving criticism from many people, including Biggie's mother, Voletta Wallace.

AceShowbiz - Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner have apologized for launching new vintage T-shirts featuring their faces superimposed over images of famous musicians like Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur and Ozzy Osbourne. The sisters previously received backlash from many people, including Biggie's mother, Voletta Wallace, and Sharon Osbourne.
Kendall posted an apology on Twitter on Thursday, June 29. "These designs were not well thought out and we deeply apologize to anyone that has been upset and/or offended, especially to the families of the artists," she wrote. "We are huge fans of their music and it was not our intention to disrespect these cultural icons in anyway. The tee shirts have been pulled from retail and all images have been removed. We will use this as an opportunity to learn from these mistakes and again, we are very sorry."

Prior to their apology, Sharon slammed the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" stars on Twitter. "Girls, you haven't earned the right to put your face with musical icons. Stick to what you know... lip gloss," she tweeted alongside an image of Ozzy's T-shirt.

Meanwhile, Voletta felt that the Jenner sisters exploited his son's death. "I am not sure who told @kyliejenner and @kendalljenner that they had the right to do this. The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me," she wrote on Instagram. "I have no idea why they feel they can exploit the deaths of 2pac and my Son Christopher to sell a t-shirt. This is disrespectful, disgusting and exploitation at its worst!!!"
Although Kendall and Kylie had apologized and pulled the T-shirts from their website, Biggie's estate refused to accept their apology. "While we appreciate that the Jenners have made an apology and pulled the unlawful and unauthorized items, this matter has yet to be resolved," the estate told Billboard in a statement. The estate's lawyer previously sent the Jenner sisters a cease and desist letter, according to TMZ. They were told to stop selling the T-shirts before Friday, June 30 or face a lawsuit.
Kendall is said to be very embarrassed by the situation. "Kendall is very distressed over this," a family insider tells HollywoodLife.com. "She and Kylie chose people they look up to and admire, they only meant it as an homage. Right now she's so embarrassed that it's blown up in their faces in such a major way."
