The 49-year-old DJ has released two singles off his upcoming seventh studio album, which will reportedly arrive later this year.

AceShowbiz - Almost three years since the release of his sixth studio album "Listen" in 2014, David Guetta has confirmed that its follow-up is on the way. Earlier this year, the French DJ dished on the upcoming effort, saying that it would be more electronic compared to his previous project. He claimed that he wanted to return to his roots but with a few differences.

He also revealed that the album would be preceded by a track featuring Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne. "We have a good combination with Nicki," he shared. "Every time we make records they are incredible and very successful. I think she is very, very special, and we work really good together, so it’s exciting. Plus we have Lil Wayne on top of that. It’s pretty big."

The collaborative song titled "Light My Body Up" was then released on May 5, 2017. Not wasting any time, Guetta apparently had another single off the upcoming studio album up his sleeve. The second single was called "2U", and it featured Justin Bieber. The Canadian singer took to social media to announce and preview the song, before it was released in early June.

In an interview, Guetta said that his latest single was "just a very romantic song." He explained, "What I'm trying to do here is a combination of emotional parts and the energy of crazy electronic dance beats. That's what I do, and that's what I like. I like making the people dance, but with a tear in their eyes."

"U2" arrived along with an accompanying video which featured Victoria's Secret Angels lip-syncing the dance-friendly song. However, the DJ promised that another visuals would arrive soon. "We're probably going to do two music videos," he shared. "It's amazing to have Victoria's Secret girls, but I also wanted something that's not branded, you know? But this is amazing; I'm very flattered that they're doing this."
