Both DeMario and Corrine Olympios, who were put at the center of the scandal, have sought legal counsel as they have hired Water Mosley and Marty Singer respectively to represent them in the matter.

AceShowbiz - DeMario Jackson, one of the contestants at the center of alleged misconduct during "Bachelor in Paradise" season 4 filming, has released an official statement over the scandal. "It's unfortunate that my character and family name has been assassinated this past week with false claims and malicious allegations," the 30-year-old says in the statement via his publicist, Eve Sarkisyan.

He continues, "I will be taking swift and appropriate legal action until my name is cleared and, per the advice of legal counsel, will be seeking all available remedies entitled to me under the laws." In the wake of the alleged misconduct, DeMario has hired attorney Water Mosley to represent him. A source reports that DeMario "has been in high spirits" and is confident his reputation will soon be cleared.

DeMario is not the only who has sought legal counsel as the controversy unfolds. Corrine Olympios, a contestant who allegedly engaged in sexual acts with DeMario during the filming of the now-shuttered season of the show, has hired high-powered Hollywood attorney Marty Singer to represent her in the matter.

Previously on Wednesday, June 14, Corrine released a statement regarding the scandal. "I am a victim and have spent the last week trying to make sense of what happened on June 4. Although I have little memory of that night, something bad obviously took place, which I understand is why production on the show has now been suspended and a producer on the show has filed a complaint against the production," the 25-year-old beauty said.

"As a woman, this is my worst nightmare and it has now become my reality. As I pursue the details and facts surrounding that night and the immediate days after, I have retained a group of professionals to ensure that what happened on June 4 comes to light and I can continue my life, including hiring an attorney to obtain justice and seeking therapy to begin dealing with the physical and emotional trauma stemming from that evening," she continued.

Host Chris Harrison recently released a statement saying that Warner Bros. "is handling the details of that investigation." He added, "They're moving quickly to gather all the facts, and once that's done, a clear, concise decision can be made about where we go from here."

On Sunday, June 11, Warner Bros. released a statement to announce that production of the "Bachelor" spin-off season 4 was abruptly halted due to alleged "misconduct," which involved a sexual encounter between Corrine and DeMario. Both Corrine and DeMario were reportedly drunk during the incident. According to DeMario's version, the act included making out while naked and later escalated with some "rubbing, touching and fingering."
